It's very late and I will check my numbers again tomorrow but this is what I come up with. First without the two Amex cards.
There was no data for the Dept of Ed accounts so my numbers for AAoA come up slightly less than your reports of 3 years, 11 months. I got 3.05 years AAoA but since AAoA is rounded down for scoring it still comes out to an AAoA of 3 years. Here is how I came up with the 3.05 AAoA:
Total numbers of months of accounts reporting: 806. This could be off by a bit because I didn't count this month in calculations. Divide the 806 by the number of accounts (22). Again I didn't use the Dept of Ed account at all. 806/22 = 36.63. Divide 36.63 by 12 to get the number in years which is 3.05.
Now if you add the two Amex accounts the total number of months goes up to 1454 (806+648). Divide this by number of accounts (now 24) and you get 60.58. Divide this by 12 and the new AAoA should be around 5.05. This would round down to 5 years AAoA.
So I came up with basically the same result as mustang but we just used different data. IF we both did it correctly!!! As I said it's getting late and my brain needs a rest.
An increase of 2 years on your AAoA is not bad at all.

The numbers won't change much with this.
Without the two Amex cards - Total number of months 910 divided by number of accounts 23 = 39.56 divided by 12 = 3.3 years AAoA
With the Amex cards added - 1558/24= 64.91/12 = 5.4 years AAoA.
Now I don't offer a warranty on my work and someone might find errors but I believe I'm very close on all this.

Thanks again for all your input Marine and to the others as well. I am happy about the bump in AAOA I will receive. All is good. :-)
