If you got the card before Octber 2018 refresh, u will pay $195 since they have to honor the terms and conditions.

I paid $195 and most customer service reps didn't know what they are talking about and told me $250.

I got in 6 months before the refresh and still paid $250. 

Recently just got rid of the card though. I used that card for EVERY-THING but with me saving money and budgeting like a mad man the points still didn't add up for me at the end of the day. Had that thing for 2 years.

So I ended up upgrading my other Amex back to the Preferred for the 6% grocereis and 3% Gas.
