Amex Platinum airline credits

I don't remember seeing any info about this, so I thought I'd share. I recently booked a Delta flight using Skymiles. Delta required me to pay about $15 in addtion to the skymiles used.  This triggered my Amex Platinum airline credit (I have Delta chosen) and they credited my account for this charge.
