Amex Reporting

I was being bombarded with emails and mailings about the Amex Hilton card. They wore me down and I finally gave in and applied for the one with no AF and 100k bonus points. I was approved with a $5k CL. This was the 1st week in December. The HP showed up from Amex but they have still not reported my account to the credit bureaus. I applied for Citi DC card a week after the Amex and was approved and they reported my new account 2 days later. I spent 1k on the Amex for the points and did a BT to my Citi DC card and Citi reported the BT already as well. My question is how long does Amex take to report new accounts?

Two to three billing statements seems about the norm from Amex.

It's actually a good thing. You'll be further away from new account ding, and usually regain some of the points next (3rd) month.
