Logged into my Amex account yesterday to make some payments, and there was an upgrade offer on my Everyday (which just hit a year old) to upgrade to Everyday Preferred. 25,000 MR for $2,000 spend, so I went ahead and took it. Easily worth the AF for a year to me, and I'll probably hit the 30 swipe threshold some months this year. While I have been focusing on cash back, I don't mind banking some additional MR in a scenario like this.
I was considering opening a new card, but honestly this works out even better. Letting my profile age more and not taking any hard pulls/new accounts because who knows what will happen with the way things are right now.
All in all, I'm pretty pleased.
Congrats on your Amex upgrade and "25,000 MR for $2,000 spend"
Took the same offer 6 weeks ago.
SUB on EDP in 2015, downgrade to ED in 2016, re-upgrade for 25k in 2020.
That's how they got me, lol.
Congrats and enjoy!
Congrats on the upgrade.
Congrats on the upgrade offer. Win win. Amex seems to be one of the few that do this.
Congratulations on your new Amex card!!!
