I've been seeing a lot of Zync approvals lately, and I'm starting to get the itch to apply for it. I just got approved about a week ago (via 2nd recon) for Barclays @ $1500...Last known TU was around 675, rest of them should be around the same. Inqs are high, and uti is around 25% right now...
So, should I apply, or should I keep my gardening gloves on?
Supposedly Barclary is really sensitive to inq's. So if they approved you, might want to tread carefully around new app's. I want a Zync too! Heck, I want a Barclay's also. Patiently waiting till my time is ready to pounce.
BTW doesn't Amex pull EX, as well as TU sometimes?
I know that Barclays is really inq sensitive...That is the one thing holding me back from apping right now lol. I'm not 100% sure which CB Amex will pull in Ohio, its been a long time since I've apped for them...

Amex typically pulls EX nationwide but has known on rare occassions to soft another CB. How many INQ do you have on EX?

AMEX pulled EX, and only EX, for me back in June/July.

My most recent EX report shows 9, though several have fallen off due to the 2 year rule, so I'd say a sefe (liberal) estimate would say maybe 7, since there were 2 new inqs over the last 3 months or so
AMEX pulled EX for me in Florida, and only EX.
I didn't have that many inquiries on EX. But I applied in the past, with a CA on my reports. Once it was removed, I was instantly approved. So their system may have taken that into consideration, I know Bank of America did. I'd say you're in good shape, but I don't know how Barclay's will react.

I second that idk how barclays will react but I'm sure you'd have a good shot at getting the zync.
This is a cause for concern for me. If I didn't have to worry about Barclay's reaction, I probably would have applied already...decisions, decisions.
