5k more SUB for $100 and 2k extra spend (if it's unbonused this only gets me 1 Amex/1$ and I forfeit 2% cashback)? Hard pass.
For 2 months of that 12 I'll be putting grocery spend on a Discover card that is yielding 10% cashback... and I would be giving up some serious other 3x bonused spend on Lyft or rental cars. It doesn't actually pencil out. But I get that it could for other folks. Just not me.
