If they get you better sign-up bonuses, great. But I wouldn't use them to gauge your qualifications for any particular card. That's just my opinion.

Yes the sign up bonus for bcp is 250$   if i spend 1000 $  in 3 monthds.   But if i go through american expresss site it is 150$.

I took the Amex BCE offer of $150 after spending $500. It also said Apr of 12.99% instead of the usual range of Apr's. And I did get the 12.99% Apr.

I've only had the BCE for 2 weeks so far, so I can't swear that I'll be getting $150 cash back  instead of $100, but I strongly suspect it was a legit offer

I apped for my prg through the site for a 50k bonus offer while the amaex website showed only 25k. On the instant approval screen it confirmed the 50k bonus I hoped for...no phone calls, no hassle...yes, the website is legit. However, no, you are not guaranteed approval just cause the site says you match (same as any preapproval) as mentioned by previous posters.

I wanted to ask the same question OP. i get the same "exclusive" offers followed by subprime offers by FP. I was glad to see i can qualify for those Amex cards but not sure if they are 100% accurate.
