Amex spending and CLI

I'm worried that as a cheap college student that I won't spend enough to get a 3xCLI in less than 60 days from now. I'm not willing to buy a CLI meaning I'm not willing to spend more than I would otherwise spend just to get CLI. What can I do about the problem?

Well if you're spending the 1k we talked about in the other thread that should be sufficient.

Dont spend more than you can . A cli is nice but in reality if you aren't going to use it , dont worry about it right now. Just create good payment habits with Amex and youll get yours in the end.

I don't think big spend is necessary at all. I have a 33K CL and never spend much over 1% of my limit per month. Fairly regular use and PIF each month seems to keep Amex happy with me.
