Another Amex 61-day CLI success story

Approved for BCE on 7/5, reports to TU as opened 7/9. Called today and requested 3x CLI through the automated system, was approved for new $6,000 limit. My TU08 is 739 as of today. My reported utilization at my last Amex account review EX SP (August 13th) and promotional EQ SP (August 20th) was 71% on my Freedom ($3640/5000) and 0% on all other cards, for a combined 17% utilization. I do not see any new SPs so I am assuming they used the most recent one. The only other debt I have is deferred student loans (in school) and an auto loan that is over half paid off.

Were it not for the community here, I probably would have never even known to apply for this card, but I can see it is going to be instrumental in truly growing my credit profile. I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the advice and information given here. I will definitely be trying for the 3x CLI again in 6 months to get up to $18,000. Less than 3 months ago I had a combined CL of $8,050, and only a month before that, it was almost completely maxed out and I was making only minimum payments; By strategically using information from this site, I now have a combined CL of $24,850, and I haven't paid a cent in credit card interest or fees since May.

Again, thank you all so much for the continuous information and advice. It really has made a difference both for me and for many other people.

First cycle was a half cycle, put through and paid off $170 for a zero balance. Second cycle, put through $932 and slightly overpaid, ended with a negative balance. Had about $600 in posted/pending charges today when I called.
