Re: Any one tried visa signature luxury hotel collection?

I havent booked, but in looking at the site you receive a guaranteed lowest rate for the room and you also are eligible for room upgrade (if available). There are some other items, but my takeaway is if booked through the site you are treated as if a top teir elite in that hotel program, even if you have no status. Seems like a nice perk if you are not loyal to a particular chain or dont travel frequently enough to obtain elite status.
NFCU cashRewards (22k) | Discover IT (8k) | AMEX EveryDay (5k) | AMEX Delta Gold (5k) | CSP (5k) | Marriott Rewards Premier (5k) | Citi Hilton Reserve(5k) | AMEX SPG (2k)

from my experience, it's mostly just hotels that sign up for these programs to gain additional market exposure.

pretty much the same as Mastercard World Elite Hotels, JPMorgan Chase's hotel collection, Amex travel hotel collection, etc.

There's usually some additional perks, such as free breakfast / upgrade / free water, etc, depending on the hotel.

Not exactly something significant....Expedia, Travelocity and other travel sites sometimes have bonuses like these as well.

JPMorgan Palladium (100k), AmEx Platinum (NPSL), AmEx SPG (46k), AmEx BCP (42k), Chase Sapphire Preferred (47k), Citi Prestige (31k), Citi Thank You Preferred (27k), Citi Executive AAdvantage (25k), JPMorgan Ritz-Carlton (21k), Merrill+ (15k), US Bank Cash+ (22.5k), Wells Fargo (12k), Bloomingdale’s (12.4k), Chase Freedom (5k), Discover IT (5k).
