If you do nothing about the baddies, then yes. However, there are many members here that have been in similar situations and were able to get removals much faster than you anticipate. There are real examples posted in the rebuilding forum.

This is true. My credit score went up 140 point in 6-7 months through due diligence.
i'm thinking they would like to see clean files. keep working on (or paying off) your baddies. with those major baddies affecting your scores... be happy with any CLI you get. you are doing great for your situation.

Could be a lot sooner. Each month you have of good payments adds to your positive profile. There might be 2-year and 3-year buckets, where your current lenders will give you bigger increases. And if you can make pay for delete arrangements, you could have high scores even sooner. And remember it's just credit
. I went close to a decade without using credit, you don't need credit to have a great life. With or without it you still have the same amount of money.
IMHO... the proven technique for ICL and CLI we are all looking for appears to be...
"a clean, thick, robust credit file with a long, positive history"
I'll definitely check out the rebuilding credit threads as we'll. I wanted to get your thoughts on my situation, take the advice and go to work on the process of removal.

@Ysettle4 wrote:The Chase card would be pretty nice to have, however, with my current FICO I'm not so sure I'd get approved. Cause of my FICOs are:
BoA Line of Credit charge off - divorce related ($23K balance | Last deliquency 8/2012)
GE charge off - divorce related (Last deliquency 3/2013)
Judgement - divorce related (8/2011)
With these items lingering, I'm not so sure about my chances with obtaning a CSP card.
With those baddies, you're going to have a harder time getting prime cards (and higher CLs). Check into some CUs - local or otherwise. They tend to be more forgiving than traditional banks (though not always - definitely depends on the CU). If you explain your circumstances, they may be more willing to give you a chance to rebuild.
