I have a Blue for Students card that I got 3 1/2 of years ago. It's been a fairly decent card and I always PIF and have had great experiences with AMEX customer service. I also since gotten another AMEX card which has become the primary card that I use for purchases. The benefits for the AMEX Blue for Students card are basically exactly the same as regular AMEX Blue. I tried asking for a CLI once on the card last year, and I got a BS response that Blue for Students has to be open for 10 years before I can ask for a credit limit increase. Since I PIF, I have only once come close to my limit. The main reason I want to change to AMEX Blue would be to be able to ask for another CLI. The lowest APR on Blue currently however is 15.24% variable and my student card is currently 11.24% variable. What do you think I should do?
If you always PIF then why would the APR even matter to you?
