Any successful initial CL recon with CSP?

This is what I got:

Your new account has a credit line of $6000. If this does not meet your needs, please discuss available credit line options with our Customer Service Specialist when you call to confirm receipt of your card.

I'm waiting for my card to come. I'm looking for more CLI since it's not my highest limit nor my second highest.

Anyone successfully recon the initial CL when they got the card? Or before they got the card?

I don't want another HP. I was able to do this with freedom with same hardpull that they used.

Thanks.

A recon on the CL will cost you another hard.

That doesn't sound right, I was able to get freedom from 2k to 3.7k when I got the card. They used same pull. It was Chase EO number.

I will find out I guess.

Re: Any successful initial CL recon with CSP?

I didnt ask for a CLI immediately after getting my CSP since it was my first card with Chase, and I figured I should just wait. I did ask for and recieve a CLI 2 months later, however, which obviously was a hp.

Did you just apply today? If you're trying to recon your CLI without a HP I would call right now, and not wait for the card to come. The longer you wait, the higher chance that they will need to do a HP.

Re: Any successful initial CL recon with CSP?

When I called to activate my CSP, I asked them to raise it and they said it would be another HP. I ended up mvoing some of my limit from the Freedom to the CSP. Once I can, Ill probably move the entire Slate limit to the CSP.

most of the time it's going to be another hard inquiry.

the EO will rarely sometimes be willing to bypass that, but it's still quite a crapshoot.

+1.  I tried to recon my CL on my Freedom upon activation.  I was told it would be a hard pull, went ahead anyway and they denied the request.
