I just opened a BMO Harris Cash Back CC account and received my card last weekend. Unfortunately, I have had issues with the website. The problems come at the two-factor authorization stage. I am able to log in with password, but when it comes to the second factor, the three options (call, text, or email) are either unavailable or do not work.
I have tried calling their customer service twice, on Sunday and today (Tuesday), and just gotten the runaround. I'm supposed to try again tomorrow but this isn't thrilling. If it weren't for the decent cash back rewards, I would tell them where to stick their CC, that's how frustrating this is....
I am able to access my account OK via the phone app but that's not the point.
Just wondered if anyone else with this CC has this problem too. Is BMO known to have a wonky website? Thanks for any info.
Since you can access on your phone. Maybe check you phone number and email are listed under profile on the app. I dont have any accounts. Odd all three dont work on any website. Push quit for me on NFCU.
I've had this problem with 2 of the 3 options. Only the email 2FA option works for me but it works every time. Also like you, the phone app is fine. The account is less than 1 month old.
No issues for myself.. although havent dealt with 2fa for awhile on the site with that said forgot if i said remember device and avoid 2fa for awhile.
