Anyone filed a claim with Visa Signature before?

Bought a pair of headsets in 2012 via Amazon.com, they broke earlier on this month and the warranty ran out this month as well (before the headset broke ....)

I have contacted Visa and provided all the details, sent in the warranty information/receipt//statement and all the info they requested, been over a week and have not heard back, anything else I should do?

Has anyone directly dealt with their warranty division? Was it a pain? What about the timeframe it took to get things resolved?

BTW their site (http://visaclaims.newcorp.com/)

I am thinking next time I should use my AMEX CC to buy electronics, word on the web is that their claims center is much better than Visa.

Based on the very limited reviews and info available, it seems like a big pain to deal with visa and MasterCard about these claims.

I filed one on my Citi Visa Signature. Citi uses Triton not NEW/Visa for insurance. It took about a month. American Express is MUCH better for these things.

American Express Blue Cash Everyday - $11,000; American Express Platinum Cashback Everyday - £3,000; American Express Rewards Credit Card - £7,500; Aqua Reward Mastercard - £3,500; Bank of America Travel Rewards - $5,000; Barclaycard Freedom Rewards - £3,500; Citi Forward - $5,800; Discover It - $10,000; Halifax Clarity - £1,500; HSBC Platinum with Rewards - $5,000, MBNA Everyday Plus - £3,500

Thanks for your input, I will start making transactions for expensive electronics with my AMEX...

Visa Signature so far is not impressing me at all.
