Anyone have the Citi Simplicity® Card ?

In a few months I want to apply for this card....trying to see if someone knows if they have automatic decline for bankruptcies?

My BK is over 7yrs old

FICO 8 scores are in the 730's

I want to use that 21 month balance transfer offer...

Appreciate any feedback (good or bad).

I have the card and got it for the same reason, the 21-month balance transfer. I can't speak to the BK, but I would think if it's been 7 years and your score is that high, you should be fine.

I have it, it is a good card. Only caution is that they keep trying to get you to keep a balance beyond the intro period, and the rate is awful, so make sure you don't.

They also have started some program similar to AmEx's "Plan It" payment plans, but the rate is awful on that as well.

Thanks for the advice....I am very good about marking all of these 0% rates on my calendar a month in advance of their end date, so I can move them off or pay them off.

For the people that have this credit card do they keep offering balance transfer offers or does it end after the initial sign up one?

I get convenience checks sent to me at least once per month. They are endless.

Thanks for the response! I know rates will vary per profile but what terms are you receiving on those checks?

They are usually 0% for 12 months or 1.99% for 15 months. Fee is 3%,

I often get 0%, 12 month, 3% fee offers on my Simplicity.  Every now and again they'll through a 5.99% offer out there.  Nothing too exciting about this card after the intro offer...and that is only decent if you get a high enough SL to be useful.

I have this card used it for the promo BT offer, paid it off and now sits in SD. I am stuck with SL2800 and never get an increase . So once it hits one year mark and if it still remains at SL then it's gone.

I think there are much better citi cards and much better BT offers out there.
