Points are worth .25cpp
Basically a 1% card.
4X will come to 1%. Points can be worth up from 1.5 to 6 cents depending on how used. Can also add up to $500 if used correctly.
I have the cashbuilder, which is 1.75% because of the checking account I have. Not bad for me, since I am such a low spender. I had read that the Points one was not that great.
Who do they pull?
I am in Ohio and they pulled Experian. I called in and spoke with an underwriter, and in all honesty I think he based most of his decision on my banking relationship with them.

I applied last year in MI and they pulled TU. Even with 2 inq they denied. I agree they really prefer a banking relationship. Although I tried that afterwards and was denied a checking acct for too many Chex inq so go figure.
LOL. That's still crazy to me to see checking account denials. But OP, $500 sign up bonus for this card is not bad...then PC to Cashrewards if possible
