App'd to NFCU today..question?

Well I submitted an online app to NFCU this morning for a Flagship Visa and I waited the 20 seconds thing and then a new page came up and it was blank.  All it said up in the corner was "Credit Card Application".   Apparently it didn't load correctly.  So I closed the window and looked up under "loan application status" and my app is there with the message "Under review".  Does anyone know if this is the standard procedure for the way NFCU approves CC apps?  Or do they give instant approvals and mine just needs further review?

Yeah that same thing happened to me. I called and was told they received the app and it was waiting to get reviewed.

I saw on tv last night an ad about NFCU.  I don't think I've EVER seen an ad for any CU before.

I saw it and just smiled to myself. I've heard of them.

Oh fishbjc, I'm not so sure they are. I'm still amazed I got approved for the 2 I got last week.

I'm waiting until after mid month(after all my payments have been updated to the CRA's) to pull all 3 again. Kind of curious.

I'd LOVE to have one of their cards. But unfortunately, I don't have any family that's ever been in the Navy. So that disqualifies me right off the bat.

Hey kball64!  What was your EQ? My husband and I got the Flagship Visa with $10k early last month with 654.  We had high util but very low DTI ratio.  We use it for everything to rack up those rewards.  Hope you get it!!!!
