Apped for Delta Gold Amex

After years of being inundated with offers, I finally apped for the Amex Delta Gold. Didn't get instant approval but got the "we'll email you soon" response. Current Experian FICO is 699 with 4 inquires. 2 years of on time history (2 cards, 1 student loan). Fingers and toes crossed.

I waited a few minutes and didn't get the typical "actually you were declined" email 5 mins later. We'll see.

Thanks! I had tried that earlier, and the same thing is happening to me! I bet they're down for maintenence on Sundays? I'll try tomorrow or otherwise call.

It appears as though it didn't even go through...it's not showing up on the app status site. Strange. As long as an inquiry doesn't show up, I'll probably leave this as it is.

Sometimes it takes a day or so to show up on the AMEX app status site.  I called the number to check my app status.
