Re: Apping Navy fed. Better to do on line or over the phone?

I applied over the phone for the Flagship Visa and nRewards MC and the Navcheck LOC.  I dunno if they have a particular cutoff score, but a csr told me (as of about 8 months ago)  their grade syatem is:

A+: 750-850

A:   720-749

B:   660-719

C:   610-659

D:   560-609

D- : 550-559

I think there have been posters here who have been approved with a 610 score. You might wanna do a search on that. NFCU pulls EQ exclusively.

Good luck.

Re: Apping Navy fed. Better to do on line or over the phone?

I did all my app online (except my car re-fi) with NFCU.  I was approved for a CashRewards Visa $1,200 CL & a week later a GoRewards MC $1,000 CL.  My scores were just under 600 at that time.  I got them in the mid 600s when I did the car re-fi.  My last thing from them was the LOC which I didn't realize my score had dropped just under 600 again due to all my new accounts hitting my report & was approved for $500 but that is all I asked for.

They definately seem to be the most forgiving/generous of any lenders out there esp these days.

Starting Scores 10/12: EQ 460 (FICO)/TU 502 (FAKO)/EX 474 (FAKO)
(7/14): EQ 572 (FICO)/TU 624 (FICO)/ EX 612 (FICO)

Current (2016): EQ 605 (FICO)/TU 657 (FICO)/EX 646 (FICO)
