I would just try the pre approval-

My understanding is that Apple/GS pulls TU for every application regardless of location.

You could also serch the internet for some very simple instructions as to how to solve your problem.

If you mean locking/freezing your TU report before applying a casual mention of it here emperically isn't quite so verboten as it used to be.

Caveat is that you may get told to unlock/unfreeze TU if you want them to process the application or they may just simply jump directly to a denial.

GS will probably review your ChexSystems profile.  Many folks get hung up with this lesser known  CRA.
