I received my Barclays Apple Visa towards the end of August. When I activated it, there was a special offer for 0% financing for purchases over $500.00 made during the first 30 days of having the card. I was planing a major purchase but what I wanted wasn't available then. Today, Apple announced that they will be updating their iMacs and the new iPad 4 is coming out so I'd like to give the card some exercise. I called Barclay's to see if they might be able to extend that financing offer but was told that it's no available to me at this time. The women said that it comes around from time to time though. I see 6 and 12 month financing offers on Apple's website. I wonder if I could get it to go through if I place my order there?
If not, oh well. Doesn't hurt to try.
The 6 and 12 month offers Apple usually post are for purchases over $999....the other ones pop up around the holidays sometimes.
I wonder if it's just standard thing when you make a purchase through Apple?
Edit - Just went on the Apple website and started to go through the process and read -
New cardmembers get no interest financing on initial purchases at the Apple Store, with the new Financing Visa Card from Barclaycard - if paid in full within 12 months.

3 months? That's pretty quick! I was thinking Barclay's is a 4-6 month CLI card. I may have to give them a try next month.
