Applied For Macy's Credit Card

 Recently applied for Macy's CC online. After completing the application, message said thank you for applying for a Macy's CC. Will they let me know by mail or email if  I was approved or not? Applied for the card on August 7th still haven't heard anything.

That is what it said after I applied.  Never said yes or no.  So I went back and reapplied and it told me I already had a Macy's CC.

Good!  That means you're approved!.  Call the number BOAMacys gave (800-627-2909) and they will tell you your credit limit.  This is the backdoor number and it works well.  Now you just have to wait for the snail mail.  You can probably shop with ID and your SS# in the meantime.

Just a note:  if you apply in-store, you get an immediate temporary card.

 I got my denial letter today Unfortunately I wasn't approved because I defaulted with one of their affiliate companies. I don't know who that would be but I do have some baddies that I plan on paying off maybe I can try again after that?
