Applying for new Amex 2 weeks later

Is american express known for using the same pull for a second app? mine was approximately two weeks ago.

I called and the CSR said they would pull again, but I've read here numerous times they use the same pull.

anyone have any expereince with this?

My experience with AMEX:

Applied for 2 cards within minutes of each other = 1 HP

24 days later applied for my 3rd card = 1 HP
