Incidentally, I just spoke to a Natonwide CSR regarding the 12 mo. 0% interest offer on car repairs.  She informed me that the 12 mo. billing period starts on the date the charge is made, not from the date the card was issued.

I asked if this was "forever" and she said "as long as the promotion is open, the 12 mo. billing period begins the date of the CHARGE".

Interesting . . . Smiley Surprised

Just out of curiosity, any ideas on why they even have a promotion like this?  Not that I object, mind you, but what is in it for them?  I doubt they own any auto repair shops.

Logical tie in for a large auto insurance company trying to introduce a CC offering to their existing customer base.

Maybe they figure if you maintain your car better (brakes, tires, alignment, etc) you are less likely to have an accident and claim!  LOL.  Smiley Wink

Coldplay1144-

To answer any and all concerns in reference to your app message 7-10 days. That isn't anything to be necessarily concerned about as I did also received the same exact message. I called for stat maybe 4 days from the initial app, and CSR told me that I have an account set up and card was issued that day. I am sure of with your prime card approvals you are certainly approved for the Nationwide Bank Visa. CONGRATS!!!!!! can you please share your CL's and APR on your approved cards. Thanks.

That's four on EX. They don't tally.
