Ask Chase to pull only TU for CLI

Hi,

I have 13 EX, 13 EQ and 8 TU inquiries.

Chase always pul EX and EQ for me and Amex EX. I read somewhere that if you want a CLI with Chase and call the backdoor number ...0625, you can ask them to pull TU for that request. Has someone experience with that ? Is it still working ?

Amex BCP (65.000), CapOne Venture ($50.000), Chase Sapphire Reserve ($45.000), Citi Double Cash ($26.000), Wells Fargo Amex WorldPropel (25.000), Amex SPG (25.000), Barclay American Airlines (22.500), Citi AA (19.700), Chase Amazon (12.500), Apple Card (15.000) Chase Freedom (5.400), Chase Freedom Unlimited (3.000), CapOne Quicksilver ($5.000), Chase Ink Cash (10.000), Amex EveryDay (1.000),

you can always try.

chances are slim however, so don't put too much hope into it.

+1.

Could be opening yourself to a triple pull as well.  If you request a specific pull, they may wonder "why" you want to have a TU pull and motivate them to pull whatever they want...which of course is likely anyway.

Frankly, I think you've probably got too many inquiries on all 3 for Chase's liking.  They can sometimes be inquiry sensitive.

Re: Ask Chase to pull only TU for CLI

I had 12 pulls on EX and EQ and Chase gave me the CSP with a 12K limit. So I think they are not so sensitive with inquiries.

While this may have been the case at a specific point in time, this varies when doing CLI versus initial approval.  As others have already mentioned, unless you have something to hide (i.e. excessive inquiries), then they would be more apt to pull two, instead of one.  Everyone's experience on this will differ and Chase reserves the right to pull the CR that is deemed so for granting additional credit.
