Automatic CLI w/Jared's?

I read through some of the threads on a CLI. Most said it was automatic after 11 months. I'm more curious about those that received a CLI after paying their balance off. Did it happen automatically? How soon after?

Mine came in about 12 months, and that the ONLY CLI received....though, you cant call for a CLI...they WANT you to come into the store and pick out something, THEN they will call the company for a soft pull for a CLI..they simply don't do CLI unless you buy something in the store! Hope this helps!

Thanks castor4072! That good to know, I was approved for a Kays card right before I started gardening.....I assume since it's the same company that they are the same way.

Yes, Jared and Kay's share the same credit limit and operate the same way. I was told by a rep that CLI's are at 9 months. But, quite honestly, I haven't kept track. I happened to log in one day and the limit was increased. Both cards were at zero balance and had been that way for some time. I hadn't used either in months.

And as the poster above noted, to request an increase one needs to go into a store and request it there.

I would hate to have to go there to request it, but then again I would not.personally get a card like that if I wasn't going to spend there.
