BBT Bright?

Anyone who has this card and can provide DP's please? 1. Are promo BT checks included w/ the welcome package? 2. Experiences w/ BT's w/ them; online, phone, in-branch? Which was easiest? Note: no branch near me.

I have the card. Didn’t receive any checks with initial card sent in welcome package. Don’t have a need for BT at this moment. It’s a SP approval so if you don’t have try the prequel link @ BB&T website. Good luck. 👍

Not long after. Like the following month. Just be forewarned they are a very conservative bank. They credit line chased me down from 9,500 on Trio to 3,100 and 2,300 from 5,000 on Truly simple. Those cards are in my sock drawer now.

By far the worst bank, technology wise, I have dealt with. The Bright card is a balance transfer card pure and simple. Their online BT process is awful. I entered info and submitted. Available credit didn't budge. There was no pending transfers display. They told me it was because I did it on a weekend. Said to wait three business days for it to show up. After 3 business days I called again. They said to resubmit. Then they processed it twice. Just awful.

 

As if that wasn't bad enough, they requested I visit a branch to straighten everything out. For my trouble, they offered me a $200 bonus if I would open a checking account with them.

 

No thanks!

Yeah I can see that being a issue. I tried loading the card on my Apple Pay Wallet and couldn’t do it. They said I had to go see someone at a branch. No thanks I’ll pass.
