Ok why in the "stone age" world do I have to put my checking account/routing number eveytime I go to pay my credit card bill? I figured "maybe" I didn't save it or something?? It appears you can't, am I missing something or is this how this goes when you want to pay your credit card??
If you pay with a non BBT Account you have to put in routing and account numbers and sign, but not if you pay with BBT Account for your credit card payment.

Thank you. What a pain in the arse, ok that card is getting sock drawered LOL.

Exactly, utterly ridiculous, maybe the "merger" with sunny trust will improve this feature, if not they are not getting much action from me.

Well actually there could be a reason...If the site stores the routing and account number on their server it is possible for a hacker to gain access to the account numbers in a data breach. I suppose it could be a reason for not storing the data.

Hmmm, well all my other accounts can manage to secure their sites lol. You would think they will "get with the program" for pete's sake.
Just ticks me off
I think I've mentioned this issue with them before. It's stupid that you have to enter the info repeatedly for manual external payments when you can setup autopay with the same info and don't have an issue. It's one more reason besides what I've already dealt with while adding accounts from them to put them on the back burner and not use them as much as they could be. The AF card has been on the chopping block since opening and the other one got added to the list as well early on due to inconvenience and issues in dealing with BBT.

I started a thread a month or so back asking about any peculiarities or issues with BB&T website. This was one of the issues brought up. I quickly crossed their cards off my wishlist.
