Finally BBVA sends a targeted offer I can make good use of!
5% effective cash back for groceries sounds great to me!
I received the same offer on my first BBVA ClearPoints card which I use for groceries. 7% on groceries - I’ll take that!
Wanted to mention in case somebody asks, the Walmart I buy some of my grocery items at does code purchases as groceries. Even the Walmart Pharmacy codes as groceries. Probably a YMMV depending on how the stores near you code.
I wonder how they code Target and Costco?

I’ve never tried Target as I use the RedCard for 5% off. No Costco here so I don’t know that one either!
Thanks @ChargedUp and @JaseT !

Yep, my local Walmart codes as groceries and I have my Clear Point Visa 3% category set for groceries, so 7% rewards for me. The limit of 3,000 point is $750 spend which should tide me over for the month, just me & my dog in the household. Luvin' my BBVA Clear Points!

I might have spoken too soon! Just made my first shopping trip this month to Wally World, $298!!! I bought a new battery for my car for $120 & stocked up on stuff. When a Walmart codes as grocery the whole purchase codes as grocery, but I don't think that battery will be very tasty.
