BBVA Clearpoints and property taxes

Hey all! Have a question about paying my property taxes with my clear points card. What does it code as? I'm assuming not any type of utility? Also it wouldn't code as a cash advance right?

Re: BBVA Clearpoints and property taxes

I just got the card myself and have so many category questions like this myself.  Not sure about the taxes and haven't seen it mentioned.  I'm in the midst of trying to confirm my State Farm insurance will code as utility. A couple other posters said their insurance did but didn't mention company.  Hopefully it's across the board, no outlier companies! This MCC business is new to me lol!

I can tell you that StateFarm indeed codes as a utility

If I were you, I would use a 2% or 3% credit card, using the BBVA wouldn't help. I was paying $150 for my government vehicle registration and it was listed under government, or other services so I lost out on some money but whatever.
