Just got a letter for two of my CCs with BBVA. Both converted to PNC Cash Rewards! Chances are the other two will do the same...dang!!
What do I look like with 5 of the exact same CC? 😂😂
I wonder if they'll let me combine all 5 into my oldest BBVA card?
That would at least save me a lot of confusion.😆

Well at least with 5 cards (since there's a 8k limit and anything above that is 1%) you can spend 40k on gas across the 5 cards and still get the 4% 😆
😂😂😂😂😂
I only use this card when I go in gas stations. I use my Penfed Cash Rewards at the pump
Rarely do I even go inside a gas station. Unless I'm paying for propane tanks. That's a heck of a lot of propane to hit $8k. 😆
For folks who are already with PNC... do they ever do balance transfer promos?
That's about all I can see myself using this card for once it migrates.

Yes sir UnkaB, I have one sitting on my PNC CC page right now.
Normally, one of the other banks beats them in transfer fees though.
PNC's is always at 4% for me.
Where BofA and Citi are at 3%.
And FNBO and SunTrust are at 2%.

Awesome... thanks for that inside info, @Gmood1!
4% isn't the greatest, but in a pinch I could make it work. At least now I know there's a point to keeping the account open!
Side note: Thanks also for the heads-up on SunTrust... hopefully the new 'Truist' will continue that trend once my BB&T card transitions! (So many mergers/migrations these days...)

Will you consider closing some?
I will be watching to see what becomes of your many BB&T cards when they become Truist.
Sounds like letter are in the mail from @Gmood1 post in this thread and another persons post that wasnt converted to scores. Didn't get one today, but suspect monday or tuesday.. Sounds like they will allow multilple cash rewards cards as already have one PNC version of that so suspect BBVA will be converted to that. Would be nice if they allowed CL combinations although don't think they do. Also GMOOD did they say if you kept your same APR as PNC's aprs are pretty bad in the 20's+% typically.
I know their normal policy is not allowing combining limits, but given the nature of the merger, they should make exceptions for those specifically who end up with multiple cards like this. They know which customers were affected by the merger, they can track it....so why not allow it due to the circumstance? Maybe if enough people called in to complain and request?
No horse in the race here, just thinking out loud...
In the bottom right corner. It states same account number, new expiration date and 3-digit security code, No Annual Fee, Same APR.
