When I received an email today that my statement was ready, I looked over it like I always do making sure the information is correct. I was nearing the end, I noticed my APR had been reduced from 24.49 to 23.99. I know it’s a very small reduction and I always PIF, so it’s not a big deal but I’ll take it, especially since I never asked for it!

It's because federal prime rate was reduced 0.5% on March 4th.

Yep. Credit card rate reductions always lag the fed for a few weeks.
Congrats! They offered me a promo period @17.49 through September of '21 on my BCE.

Ok this made me go back and check and my memory was fuzzy, it wasn't through September of next year but it was a full year promo.
