Approved back on oct 2 and still has not reported, Discover approved 2 weeks later and reported immediately! Only curious for I want to see the score drop and know how long 4-6 months I need to wait for mortgage app!

Amex cards generally report between the 2nd and 3rd statement. Both of my Amex cards (BCP and Delta) reported about 12 days after the 3rd statement cut. Sorry, I know it is a long wait.

Usually takes 2-4 billing cycles for AmEx to report.

It won't necessarily cause "damage" depending on your report. A new account really hurts some whereas with others makes minumal difference. Depends on how thick your file is.
