Hello everyone. So my BOA 3,2,1, recently graduated and I got a CLI. When I opened my account they told me that when it graduated after a year that the annual feel would also be removed. Well it graduated early, it would be a year this coming Feb 2017. I recently got a letter saying that it graduated and that I got a CLI and my deposit would be returned to me in the form of a check but that everything else would stay the same, apr, annual fee, ect. But like I said, when I opened it they told me that when it graduated that I would no longer have the annual fee. So now who do I talk to about this? Do I call the number on the letter? Or do I call one of the back door numbers listed here http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/Backdoor-Numbers/m-p/408066 but which one?
Thanks,
You may need to call them several times until you find someone that will remove the AF.
Try credit analyst and Sr credit analyst. Good luck.

I did it with chat. After my AF hit. Mine graduated early too but still got AF after 1 year. Asked on chat ,couple minutes of waiting and they said ok. Got the AF refunded too.
Good info. Thanks.

I always get an answer with "fee is tied with the account" excuse.....I will be closing it next July if i can not get it to remove it.
On a side note, just got a 1K auto CLI.....
yeah i have this same problem, mine just graduated and Feb or march will be my annual fee period and they said it is not removed automatically. I called and the lady said I can apply for a new non annual fee card but i cant remove this one because it is "Tied to the account" , i was like are you really sure and she said yes absolutely
Thanks everyone! Just got on the puter and logged in to my account and couldn't find chat anywhere. Weird. I will try calling and if no luck then I will just go down on Sat to talk to someone in person.
If you cannot get an analyst to remove it, go on FB and message them. Let them how disappointed you are being told one thing, putting your deposit down and now the card has graduated the annual fee is still there. The reps that are on FB actually have more pull than an analyst. They work for the executive office and have executive approval to make decisions! Good luck!
