Does anyone know how long it takes for Bank of America to report an application decision/issue credit card? I applied for th unsecured cash rewards card on 6/12/14 and received a message stating that I did not qualify for that card, but BOA counteroffered me the 99/500 card. I accepted the counteroffer, and received the message stating that I would receive their decision within 30 days. Exactly one week later (6/18/2014) BOA took the $99 out of my bank account (I have read that once they do that supposedly you are in). However, when I check the app status I still get the 30 day message with a new "decision date of 6/18/2014". Yesterday I called the backdoor number, and the rep on the phone gave me the same info...."I will find out within 30 days from my application date". I am so anxious, and just want to know that I REALLY did get the card. Does anyone know how long it takes to find out their decision?
That was the card I started out with. If they took the deposit then you've been approved. I didn't get a decision letter in the mail, well, I guess I did...it was my card with a letter of cogratulations
Thanks wmweeza.....good to know that I'm not the only one. It's just so nerve-racking waiting for the card or a decision.
I actually can see the new credit card account in online banking today. Yay!!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.

Do you see online if it say 'cash rewards', I was able to change the normal card to cash rewards even before I got the card by asking in a secure chat online. They just asked for the last 4 digits of the card and that's the only thing I had.
Congrats
Greatly card. Add the cash rewards for sure. I had the fully secured and unsecured at 6 months.
