I have the BOA cash reward and I also use the amerideals. So for example if I get an amerideal that is 10% off a purchase, I use my cashrewards credit card, I get the 10% off put in my checking account. At the same time I get the 1% for using my cashrewards card. You do not have to use your debit card just because your rewards are going to your checking account. You can link any credit card or debit card in your bank of america account to take advantage of the amerideals. I have 2 credit cards and one debit card. I can use anyone of them to get the amerideal and it will get put in my checking account plus I get to use whatever rewards the credit card offers.
