@Anonymous wrote:$30 per quarter is a pretty crappy card.
I could make that on $500 monthly spend on my Citi DC.
Do you really think a card that averages out to $10 a month (capped per quarter) in rewards is great?
Another example of BoA looking out for themselves first instead of the customer.
I'll tell you what, when I earn $800 back this year in rewards, the original replyer who thinks the BBR is a good card can compare it to how great a real card is.
I've lost some serious respect for this community with the comments from some people on this thread. Do you seriously not see how that's a subprime card like every other BoA credit card?
Alright already we get it!! You don't like Bank of America and anyone who says something that's not negative about BofA or doesn't reinforce your beliefs about BofA is not worthy of your respect and is a shill for Big Banks. If someone likes thier BofA card then more power to them, if you don't like BofA, hey more power to you. This is a place to learn and share experiences and enlighten each other, not belittle someone or the group because of their feelings about a bank or credit card. Someone likes their card and you tell them that's a pretty crappy card, why say that to someone? You tell someone they are the only one's who mentioned BBR when theres lots of threads about BBR, There is a search feature in this forum you know. This thread basically consits of you bashing BofA and almost anyone who says otherwise, it's getting rather old, just my two cents if it's offensive ban me,I've been here almost ten years maybe it's time to move on anyway.

OP, I was going to let it go, but nah, what the heck.
About that BBR - I only have to put $78 spend per QUARTER to get that $30 ($26/month x 3 months). In all, I only have to put $312 per YEAR on the card to get $120 ($26/month x 12) - again I'll ask, please tell me any other card where I can spend $312 per year and get $120 in CASH rewards.
I never, ever said this card was good for a daily driver, it is not. It is a good card and has value for capitalizing on rewards for very little (general) spend. If I moved that general spend from the BBR over to my 2% card, I would only get $6.24 back for the same $312.

I would most certainly respect someone's opinion on how Bank of America is good... That is if they actually had a strong factual argument behind their reasonsing(s). As of right now, nobody has provided that, so I'll just keep pushing their opinions back where they came from.
I've already said, "more power to them," pages ago on this very thread---but then was called bitter.
Weak arguments deserve responses back that encourage a better argument.

Yes, and if you spend $100,000 on the card per year, you're still getting that same $120 back, so a return of 1/10th of a cent per dollar. The point of credit card rewards is to MAXIMIZE them. Meanwhile I'm getting $2,000 back on my Citi DC. Let's see, $3,000 or $120.... Take your pick. So in other words with your BBR card, the more you spend, the less you earn. You could spend $1 a month and earn $120 a year.
Mods, please delete this thread. Nothing is getting accomplished here other than anger.

That's why many of us have more than ONE card.
My BBR, general spend $312 and earn $120
My PenFed 5% gas, spend $1,500 and earn $75
All other spend on my 2% card, spend $15k and earn $300
My total rewards this way is $495
@Put all my spend on the Citi DC @ 2%, $16,812 and earn $336.24 - last I checked, I'm coming out $158.76 ahead of you each year.
I'm choosing to use more than one card to maximize my rewards by using multiple cards. Use each card to its advantage to get the most back - not every card will be your daily driver. We both agree this card shouldn't be a daily driver.
That doesn't make it any less of a sub prime card.
Many people aren't like us on here; hence, they don't have four rewards cards.
As I've said already, I'm leaving the thread for deletion.
