Just curious if anyone has experience/opinions on this. I'm considering applying for a Discover card (received a preapproval in mail). I'm just wondering if it helps/hurts/has no effect on the approval process to put balance transfer on the initial app(0% 12 month temptation,). Or perhaps it is better to try to get the card, and BT later? Thanks!
