Balance transfer rules

Maybe a dumb questions.

So I am not able to balance transfer to another card where I am only the authorized user on the account (i.e - transferring balance from mine to my wife's card)

Need a little more info, but I'm not sure the AU part is the issue.

Is the BT you're trying with the same lender?

Yes.  I'm trying to balance transfer from Capital One where I'm the primary card holder (wife is authorized)  to my wife's NFCU card where she is the primary card holder but I'm authorized user. I'm doing this for the lower interest rate.

Yes you can do the transfer without any problem. Your wife or you will need to sign into her NFCU account to do the transfer and then input your Capital One account information and the amount you want to transfer

It seems when I've BT nobody gives a crap about the name on the account at all...

They just ask for

the account #

the amount

address where to

and that's it done

If someone is game I'm prefectly willing to BT
