I agree with enharu - sounds fraud related ESP since it's two banks.

Just like we are able to close our accounts so are they.

How long did you have the accounts?

Were you running large deposits through the accounts?

Generally you have to decide what you want.  Having the accounts reopened etc is very unlikely, what MIGHT be possible, depending on the real reason for closure, is getting the value of your earned rewards back.  How much did you lose?   Some people who lost 100K+ TYP/UR  have been suing Chase and Citi in small claims court.   Often, but far from always, the bank will offer a settlement, which might be the easiest way.

 

But you have to be fairly sure that they don't have a justified reason such as fraud. (The fact that the T&Cs state they can do it is not always a justification)

WOW that is insane! I've never heard of this happening before. I don't understand why they can't tell you why though...?!
