I agree with @blindambition . I have/had this card, it has since graduated.
One negative, at least for me, they are a little stingy as it pertains to CLI requests.
I've only ever had unsecured cards, and I'm not knowledgeable in secured cards, so forgive my ignorance. Does BoA (or any bank for that matter) hard pull when you open a secured cc?

Yes BofA does HP for secured cards.

It isn't a universal trueism but most issuers of secured cards including BoA do hard pull as part of the application process.

As has already been mentioned, most financial institutions do a Hard Pull for a secured card, some do as many as three Hard Pulls (one for each credit bureau); ask me how I know.
