Very true. Any real differences in mail offers vs online offers? If you established a good relationship with a credit card company, and you get a pre-approved offer online, does that make much of a difference ?
Any idea if it's forever gone? Is there another way to check for offers?
If your TU report shows more than three INQs, don't even bother to app.

I was approved with 7 INQs, 4 in the past month. So it is a factor, but not the only one. I believe Barclays may have an issue with multiple inquiries for their cards though.
Barclays never ever had a preapproval for me when that link was around. Although for months sent me a rewards mc preselected mailer daily. I was approved for 4 barclay cards last year. All my approvals came when TU scores were in the 655-665 range and my TU was HIGH on inquiries. Now that i have a collection from midland gone and a charge off along with a low uti and good behavior over the last four years, my tu is 750 and barclays auto denied with no pull for ring mc a few weeks ago. Im at a max exposure with them for a while i think. So u can have different credit profiles and get instant approved with a lower score and good behavior and declined with a high score and good behavior but a lot or credit lol. Barclays is good to me though.
