@Aggiejue wrote:Today I applied online for Barclay's Visa Card to purchase a computer from Apple. I received an instant approval of $2690 and called the backdoor number posted here for a CLI. I was asked a few questions and was increased to $4990 after asking for 5k. Merry Christmas!
Equifax FICO 703 Today due to being an AU on wifes BB account and her missing a $20 balance for 60 days.

This business about Barclays got me looking, and I found the Barclay's Priceline Visa.. It has William Shatner on it! I sort of want it now..
Ahh Captain Kirk
They verified my income, SSN and asked how much I wanted the limit to be.
Wow congrats! That is an awesome CL! Highest I've heard on here. They gave me $1190 instant approval and I recon'ed for $2000CL. I bought an iPad with it (which I ended up just paying off in full 3 weeks after purchase). I'm about to put plane tickets to Costa Rica on there though. I should have it fully paid off by March or April and I'm hoping for a nice auto CLI.

I have the same story as you as 1190 and recon to 2k
So far the highest CL on this card I have seen is $5k. I wonder if it goes higher?
Mine is currently $4200
I wasted an unnecessary IQ to be informed I was approved for like $300. I immediately declined the card.

Oh OK, I thought it may have been something that really affected your credit negatively, I don't blame you for declining the card, does it still list on your reports? If so, it's a good thing towards AAoA's and actually helps you more now than it hurts you
initially denied. recon'd then approved for $2000. barclays seems like they have great customer service. didn't have to wait or anything a CSR immeditaly picked up the phone!
the only reason i'm even actually applying is because im looking for replacements for my crappy capital1 cards. i got approved for a citibank card for $1000 and now the barclays $2000.... those are my 2 replacements ^_^
edit: my barclays card is actually $1990.. how weird >_<
