Ho Hum!
Only on fights and at airport terminals.
If you were to go out and buy 40,000 American airline miles this is what it would cost you.
But you get 50k if you don't have citi.
Opps, your right for churning but the card itself is pretty lack luster anyway.
Pass.
wonder if the Red will be the only card offered.
Which was better ? Silver ?
Just got a message on this from a friend as well.. I guess I probably know where my SM CL is going to.
AA people lay out the pro's and cons of this card please. Never had really a need for AA for local flying.. Looking at relocating for a job and AA flies out of there and would be my primary airline from new location to visit family / parents if I decide to take job in location.

Others will not be until 2017.
I wonder if they will run some special promotion...maybe offer some renewal miles again in a few months?
So thoughs that don't have citi can now get 90k miles with the app of two cards. 50k citi and 40k barclay, that would be a good double dip.
Watching the approval forums for apps.
Looks like a good card if Citi doesn't like you either.. I am one they dont like although never burned them in any sense. On other hand barclay's auto approves me for everything.
Probablem is my laast Barclay's application was a bit over 4 months ago.. Typically they like 6 months between applications for auto approvals. Wonder if that will hold true on this new card or they want the applications. Sure I could recon it without issue and be willing to move limit from SM to get it opened if needed. This might be my final push for the year as appears to be a decent card if one can't get citi and has a need for AA
