You don't incur any penalties if you pay it off earlier. It's like any other 0% APR period on a card (that's all that it is at the end of the day, a credit card). And I think with your scores you'll definitely get it!
Yeah you would have to do the math for yourself to see what the better option is. I actually got my first credit card ever (the Best Buy Citi Visa) when I was buying a MBP and financed it over 18 months using the card. It didn't mention a fixed monthly payment but I was certainly close to 100% utilization after getting the laptop (but I turned out fine! )

Alright! Yeah, it’s because they mention monthly payments are 80 dollars. And i remember i read about something that if you pay it off sooner you get a penalty. Not sure if that was Barclays.
And it should also depend what SL barclays give ? If they give a 2000 SL i would be reported as maxed out? I’m not familiar with those special financing things, hence the dillemma.
I have my 0% apr on Amex still. If i do it on that i could get 150 statement credit cause i used more than 1000 within 3 months. Perhaps worth utilizing more for a bit, not sure.
Just a word of caution: many posts of Barclays appproving card and purchase, only to AA the customer down the road. Make sure you pay it off pronto! Best of luck!

I have a Discover IT, with 0% as well. However under Disco Deals i got offered 5% cashback instead of 10%. Downside of it is that it doesn’t combine with a employee discount, which i could get. So that 10% extra got my eyes poppin lol but i’m not eligible to combine. My Disco tries to give me a 300 CLI i just saw but i think i’ll wait till my 3rd statement and try again. I think i might either go with my Amex or if Discover is generous in 2 weeks might go with them. Saves me from having a HP from barclays.
5% becomes 10% with cashback match in the first year.
