Thanks Cruz, that's what I was going for lol It's the type of information I'd like to see before I apply somewhere. None of my questions got answered, but at least folks can compare their approval chances based off my profile haha
Always206, That's definitely a personal decision. Based on the info you provided I'd think that you'd be approved, unless you have loads of inquiries (not sure when you bought that most recent car) that might be an issue since they tend to be inquiry sensitive at Barclays according to other threads. Also, I'd go through the last few pages of the Slick Deals thread linked earlier (I haven't checked it recently) to see what people are saying they're being approved for in case the Packers are no longer the easy ticket.
Also, make sure you search the T&C before applying for 40,000 to confirm that the bonus still shows up on there, then on the application confirmation page - if it shows there it should show in your account as an active promo for you once you create one. (I took screen shots of all 3 in case something goes awry later.)
Good luck to you, and congrats on your financial stability! I hope my children are as ahead of the curve as you are already when the time comes! I'll do what I can to prepare them, but it'll be one of those "Do as I say, not as I did" situations haha
I dont understand, I app'd but it was not apporved because the offer is no longer aailable, just spoke to a rep...confused.

These offers seem to end quickly. Which card did you go for? Several people on the thread linked earlier in this thread have had success by choosing a different team than they did the first time. Not that I'm suggesting multiple apps, but several people on that forum found success that way.
Very tempted to apply for the bonus.
What CRA do they usually pull, specifically in MA?

I don't know for a fact, but I think Barclays usually pulls TU everywhere - that's what they pulled for me but I'm in PA. If you do apply make sure you review the T&C to make sure it's got the 40,000 points offer in there
