Just out of curiosity, why do you need two Barclay rewards cards?

By the way, did they hard pull for your PC?
Nope took about 2 minutes over the phone with Barclay CSR.
And for Kenny and Jackff, Barclay just told me I couldnt PC my rewards to a Sallie
Sorry to hear that! My hopes are up that the Arrival can be a pc to SM eventually.
I am wondering you were able to pc from apple visa to rewards visa card, but I believe sallie mae card you wanted to pc is a mastercard. Maybe thats the reason

Well it wasn't really a matter of need per se. I actually just had the one Barclay Reward MC, and the Apple Visa. I purchased a new iMac on the Apple card and paid if off in a few months, then the card didnt get any use so I PC'd to a rewards card. Next month Ill probably be moving the CL to the MC and closing the Visa rewards card...since I really dont need two of the same cards.

While they didnt mention that, its a good observation stengiz. Maybe after I move the CL from the Visa to the MC Ill try again for a PC from MC to MC? Worth a shot thats for sure.
I asked a few times to do this and was told no. Because it is a cobrand card it seems like they are not allowed to do it. However, it doesn't explain why you can PC the Apple to the Rewards, which I tried to do in the past and wasn't allowed to do! They told me to do it I had to apply and then PC even if I was declined. So I did and tried to PC that way with the underwriters. They told me while they were reviewing my app that not only would they not give me the rewards card, they would close the Apple card too. I had to politely reason with them about that for them to approve the rewards and had to take a lower limit than the Apple. When I got the card it was even lower than we agreed on, which I had to file a complaint about. I think I might have done that with the BBB to get it done, I don't quite remember but I do know I had contact with the underwriting and EO over it. So for the last three months I have asked to PC to the Sallae Mae card and was always told no. So I finally just went ahead and applied. I got an instant decision of $9,400. Now mind you I never got another credit limit increase on the rewards after getting the limit we agree to, so I figured why not call the underwriters and simply ask for a bump in the limit using the same hard pull. They had to check on that, but they finally said yes it could be done and got the limit on that card raised from $1500 to $3000 and even got them to up the Sallae Mae to $10K. I know I could have asked for a little more, but hey, with all the other issues I figured it really doesn't matter since in the future I will simply move the limit to the Sallae Mae card and probably close the rewards anyway.
And yes I know I said I was going to garden, but Citi just kept sending me those darn prequals for the Diamond card. (Not the card I wanted from them, but I took that as a sign to try and get the one I did want. Yes! Dividend!!)
Curious, Plastic: do you recall what number you called when you PCed your Apple to Rewards? I just tried to PC my Apple Financing and was told there were no products available. But I called the general customer care line, and the front-line rep had to put me on hold to consult with someone else. Wondering if I should try again with a different department.
I'd think it would be in their interest to allow the change -- this card hasn't seen the light of day in over six months because it's useless compared to my rewards cards. But who knows what factors into the decision?
Maybe the issue is you are trying to PC a card with an annual fee to a card with no annual fee? It's just a guess, but some CCC do not like to do this (for obvious reasons).
Have you had the Arrival for more than 12 months?
EDIT: Whoops just noticed you do have the no AF version, so disregard the first comment.

I actually just called the number on the back of my Rewards card. How long have you had the card you're trying to PC?
i just in a way did this. apply for the card you want (hp-in my case sllie mae). then call credit solutions and tell them to reallocate your current line to the new card. in my case they did it with no questions asked, had 9 h on tu at time of split.
