Was making a payment online for Barclays (Apple card) and asked the CSR if they allow product changes, the answer was YES. They asked me a few questions about what I use my card mostly for (in my case, travel) and teh CSR switched it to the Virgin America product. The new card comes in 10 days. Pretty slick if you ask me.
awesome! hmm wonder if other CC companys do this also. might look into it. how long have you had your CC account when you asked for this product change
Did they do any inquiries or otherwise ask questions that made it seem like it was a qualification type thing, rather than a simple change?
I too have an Apple card. Considering it's only reward/benefit is deferred financing on the first purchase, a change to something else could be nice.
I noticed in another thread you were solicited for a Virgin card. Wondering if that had anything to do with it...
All these talks of BARCLAYS makes me want my Gconomy card even more!!! haha....just sent my Formal letter for Recon. out with supporting documents
Do you remember if you lost your 0% interest on the first qualifying purchase that you made? Did you receive a CLI?
What was your CL on the card, had you used it?
I did not lose my 0%, and my CL was $4000 and I had used it heavily. Balance was always PIF.
Which number did you call to ask for the product change?
